Animals created in ceramics.

I trained at the Kent Institute of Art and Design and then later at the Buckinghamshire College, where I gained my Honors degree.

My work is animal based, finished using a smoking technique to give a soft organic surface. This eliminates the need for glazes which would give a harsh, cold finish.

My animals are not exact copies of a particular species but are designed to portray the essence of the beast. Each animal is formed using small slabs of clay pushed together, creating a hollow form. Each piece is unique and individual.

Please find a small selection of my work below. For more examples please see the Gallery pages.
